There is just one room in the Shepherds Hut which is multi-functional. There is a full sized (4'6") double bed with quality mattress and bedding to make you very comfortable and two types of quilt are available depending on the outside temperature - either a summer 10 tog or a winter 13.5 tog.

What is the Breakfast like?

Is the property and location family friendly?
The Shepherds hut is really for romantic getaways rather than a family get together - but if you wanted to come as a family and pitch a tend outside you would be more than welcome. There is a pond in the vicinity of the hut so little one's would need to be supervised at all times to be safe and secure.

Is my car going to be safely parked?
There is off road parking for one vehicles dedicated to the hut. The area is particularly safe as far as reported crime is concerned. There is also ample external lighting for the night wanderers and an LED torch is also provided.

What about pets?
Pets are not allowed in the hut (except assistance dogs by arrangement) mainly because many dog breeds love to chase hens and ducks and we have many of those free ranging on the smallholding.

What about smoking?
There is no smoking allowed within the hut or anywhere except by the seating near the pond. Please use the pot of soil under the table at this location for the disposal of cigarette butts.
